Black Tunnel Paint Issues

What's everyone seeing for wear on these painted tunnels? I've only got 60 miles on and the paint is wearing pretty bad on the running boards where my feet are. My buddy's sled is flaking paint around the rivets on the back top of the tunnel. I can only imagine what these tunnels will look like after a couple seasons.....

I have about 230 miles on my orange tunnel and boards and they look like new, pretty happy so far

Dealer told me that black is the only colour they are having problem with and after replacing some under warranty, they say Polaris is now telling them to re-paint mine. Dealer does not have a paint booth and is telling Polaris to come up with a better solution. Might be a long stand off.

Just the sharp ridges on the boards wore through, no other paint issues on my black tunnel. My 15 LE was the same way. I have seen 2 orange tunnels in person with ~500 miles and they both look like new. I think this is due to them using a gloss paint versus the flat black. You can just tell the gloss looks higher quality.

The problem is the black paint is flaking off in areas that don't get a lot of wear. it is an adherence problem. Bad paint or bad prep. It is not a major issue but it is annoying.

Yeah same problem here. I don't care about the sharp points where my feet ride, but its in between the footboards where nothing touches its poor adhesive for sure.
