2. the cars are driving on the wrong side of the road

typical Facebook BS

That is a photo of a road in Japan.. black hills got hammered with heavy wet snow but nothing like that.

It really is sad that this storm was so devastating. I was all excited and happy when I heard about the storm dumping so much snow, then I heard of the havoc that it caused. Early storms like this, while they get all of us excited, really can cause major problems.

To add insult to injury they also had 4" of rain in parts of the hills this past Friday, so it goes from ranchers worring about the cattle in the snow storm to now hoping they don't get washed away.

I used to live out there but moved last May. I went through there last Monday for work on my way to Casper WY. It is(was) a mess, I took HWY 79 down to Hot Springs and it did not even looked like it snowed. When I was about 5 miles west of Edgemont I started to see dead cattle tangled up in the fences and just laying besides the highway dead, pretty sad. Where we had built our house on the south end of Rapid they did not have power for 3 days, glad I was not there.

Was antelope hunting with my son last Sunday. The ranch we were hunting on SE of Hot Springs just had their power restored that day. One rancher from our church lost 80-85% of their herd.
