What I've been trying to figure out for a long time is do I not care because I'm a wannabe or am I wannabe because I don't care? Actually, I do care unless they're Canadian. Then I don't care.

I would like to thank the countless masses that start the same thread over and over so they can preach on the dangers of avalanches. Put on your big girl panties ladies. Life is dangerous. Some of us will die in most unfortunate manners. If that worries you, then stay indoors and hope a meteor does not take you out.

It took me a while to get smart about Avalanches and the devastation they can bring to a family and got some structured training finally.

My wife and I now ride with a beacon, probes and shovels on every ride, even the "family" style trail rides so I'm equipped in case somebody else who feels the hill would never bury them gets buried.

After going over a huge cliff and busting myself up I thought I lost my nerve for the big highmarks but I'm starting to think that I just finally grew up and started to feel my own mortality.

I'd rather play in the rolling powder, working on the perfect carve now than showing the rest of the group how far up that hill my sled can go.

I tried to green you up OT but you've been smacked with some serious red horsepower.

I would like to thank people like you for driving mountain snowmobiling into the dirt and giving us all a bad name. do you think the government will just stand by with this much bad media on backcountry users? no, they will shut us down, in a heartbeat!! so if I have to push avy awareness night and day, get red rep, and get hacked on by people like you to try to preserve our sport, then so be it.
