Long Over Due But here are the prototype Billet control arms and spindles designed by CO-BE MotorSports!

I rode this set of slightly modified spindled last season and was impressed. Im praying for enough snow to test the rest. These will be on display At the Puyallup snow show!

Looks cool! But pardon my ignorance, but aren't the A-arms supposed to be the sacrificial part of the front end if you hit something solid so you don't ruin your bulkhead? A-arms are easier and cheaper to replace than the bulkhead.

Correct! The rod ends/heim joints(not puictured Yet) are the sacrificial part and 13.00-18.00 bucks compared to 120.00 and up arms . These are tough as hell and should be repairable in most cases . They will be more money to begin with of course. We need to test them before anything else and i have more work to do to pin down a price at all.

If you bring an extra set to Puyallup, I'd be happy to use my 900 as a test sled ;)

Sorry My riding buddy is the only one that lucky! I make him buy ALL the gas though . Good deal i'd Say!

Thanks, something has to give.

What is your target price? Different width options?

Thats the real work at this point. having made a few sets and knowing what I can improve will help. I need to nail down better suppliers for rod ends etc. to help control costs. I need to decide how many sets to build at one time. Building fixtures and toolpaths was insane this time around.

Making parts affordable is the hard part.

These should be easy to make longer. Now that the basic programs are done and proven small changes in geometry are not that big of a deal.

Hmmm, interesting idea. If you can manage to consistently build those sacrificial parts to tight tolerances, we could do trail-side swaps on an otherwise "day-ender" bent A-arm...keep us posted!

Rod ends are cheap and the tools to change them are onboard already for the most part. even if the threads in the arms themselves do get damaged a thread insert is a better than new repair . If you bend or break the arm itself your sled will probably be the least of your worries.
