Bill Clinton tells veteran to "Shut up"

The Veteran and his female companion were the ones being disrespectful

First I don't support the Democratic Party or any Party for that matter. I did not like him as President either, but fault here goes the the hot headed Veteran who said his peace and then refused to calm down and hear Clinton's reply.

But watching the video Clinton gave both the opportunity to calm down and let him answer. They refused to do so. I personally would not have reacted any differently in the situation. Clinton gave them ample opportunity to speak their minds, without interrupting them and was very polite and respectful.

Just because the man was a veteran; does not give him, and the female with him, free reign to be complete asses.

Your summary is flawed, watch the video again. Clinton was trying very hard to defuse the hot head in a dignified way. He did not want either one of them escorted out of the room and he did not tell the man to "Shut up" he did ask him to calm down and be quiet so he could answer. Huge difference! Your summary is flawed and you are fishing for reactions. Must be a slow Sunday in your corner of the world.

Watched on the news this morning with transcript below video, and at one point he did indeed say "shut up"
Not acceptable.

I've heard much worse directed at our elected Commanders in Chief... GW Bush and Obama.... where was the reverence there???

LH has it nailed on this one.

^agree. There is no point in asking a question if your not going to shut your mouth and listen to the answer. He wasn't being productive he was just getting in the way of everyone else who wanted to listen to the former president.

Being a veteran doesn't give you the right to fly off the handle and start screaming random chit.
