The 2 journalists in N. Korea are being granted a special pardon, apparently Bill Clinton went over there on a "personal mission" to try and get them released.

Well........... Thanks to citizen Bill Clinton......

if they'd put that kind of effort into saving people that were not wacko liberals (99% chance the 'journalists' are libs)
or maybe saving democracy around the world (Honduras, et al ...)
or maybe saving US Soldiers
or maybe...

ahhhhh frack them....

He is negotiating and making agreements with NK for the release, is that something a past President still has the authority to do?

Just seems strange to me that it took Bill Clinton going over there to get anything done, wonder where his next trip will be..... Iran?

I wonder what national secrets he hand delivered to DPRK in exchange for the release of these journalists?

Not that Bill Clinton would have done anything like that now or in the past...

Exactly, you know some deal was struck in order to release them. Granted, I am happy that they are safe, but it makes me wonder what was said behind the scenes.

Humm, go rescue two reporters, who where thrown in jail, for illegally crossing a sovereign countries boarders, without going through customs. Kinda sounds like they got caught. I personally think they should throw everyone into prison, that illegally crosses a countries boarder on purpose. I'm having a hard time, feeling sorry for them. Hope they got a good story for Al Gores magazine.
