I know a few of you guys and myself were wondering about running a pipe with your HPS can. So I bit the bullet and got the bikeman pipe and installed it with my HPS can. Rode for an hr yesterday here in mn at 1200 ft with no problems at all. Sled ran great, gained 300-400 Rpm's. Very happy with the purchase and it definitely woke the engine up. Hope i don't have any issues at 8-10000 ft next month when I go but will bring stock can and pipe just in case. Keep the snow coming it's looking to be a good year. ?

Just as another data point, I ran the Bikeman pipe and SLP can without the Bikeman tune last year on my 2016 and it ran great. Took the pipe and can off my 2016 and put it on my 2017, but also added the Bikeman tune. With this combination on the 2017 I had a bog in the 5500-6000 RPM range. Replaced the SLP can with the stock can and the bog went away. This is at 7-9K elevation.

Will do ? Head out to the deep stuff on Jan 16th will report back.

I had a different experience, last year on my 16 axys I put on an HPS can after breakin. It ran the good and sounded good. Mid season I decided to add the Bikeman pipe and kept the HPS can on thinking it should work fine. It dropped rpm and was getting beat by my buddies stocker. I tried to tune in with clutching and no improvement. So I ordered the Bikeman can and it came to life! Have no idea why but it brought my Rs way up. Ended up selling my HPS to my buddy on his stocker and he loves it, works great.

Ok good to know. Like I said had great luck at 1200ft so hoping it works just as good at 8-10000ft. Will see I guess

I'm currently running a full stage 2 Bikeman kit on my 2016. clutch, head, y pipe, pipe, tune and full velocity BMP can. For sure this kit woke my sled up and I notice it when you hit it at mid range. only rode it once so far with no issues. looking to get back on the snow next week after Xmas. I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants more HP without a turbo. big difference. sled rips!!

Update. Just got done riding for 4 days out in togwotee with bikeman pipe and hps can and sled worked great. I could run 2 grams heavier weights in primary clutch and sled was still hitting 8300 in powder. Sled pulled hard very happy with the combo.

What gram weights were you running? I'm heading to Togwotee on Wednesday and my clutch kit I got from Carl's Cycle came with 66 gram Belly Buster Weights, I'm worried I won't be able to pull 66s. I've got the SSI pipe and a Bikeman Can.

Running their stage 2 kit with y pipe in combo with a GGB trail can. Runs and sounds great. Running 76.2 grams at 1800 ft and still hits 8500 rpm in the powder. Very impressed with this setup.

I started with 64s but would only pull 8100-8200 so I put in 62s and would hit 8300 in powder and 8500 on trail so I stuck with that. 63s would probably be perfect but I guess I don't know how well the ssi pipe works or Carl's clutch set ups since I'm just running stock clutching. Last year I was setup completely stock except HPS can and I had to run 60s in primary to get the Rs I wanted. Good luck. Snow was deep out there but getting set up by last weekend but I think they were suppose to get more Sunday through Wednesday.
