bikeman performance

starting to get the itch. was crusing around the internet and came across a nice performance package from Bikeman for my 06 rev 800 summit. was just looking for egt gauges but am interested in this kit. i have 30hp nitrous shot, so already run a little av gas. Kit has a pipe, reeds, clutch kit, and billet heads. anyone out there running this stuff on their sled? i don't ride with anybody who has anything from Bikeman.

I know the Micku's have been running Bikeman stuff for a few years now and if you've seen any of those boys ride.....I'd say BMP stuff works pretty damn good.
My bro has a 900 drop-in kit on his M8 and it flies now!
I'd buy the same kit your looking at if I didn't have all the SLP stuff dressing up my motor already.

i am just looking at some bolt on stuff, don't think ill go for any porting or that kind of thing. if a guy really wants to get crazy with all the new technology turbos are probably the best and most reliable performance additions anyway.

rkt plus nos. cheaper and fun

I have a bikeman 880 on my xp can't get to run right. everytime i call them they tell me i need to buy this and buy that so i spend more money and it still will not run right. It could be somthing simple but they are no help at all. I am sick of them. There stuff might work good at low elevation but not good in the mountians. well not on my sled others say there's on run good.

BMP

Have a bikeman pipe and can on my 600HO summit and I love it! Sounds great and a definate increase in HP over stock not to mention weight loss. I called them up and they recommended jetting and it was spot on for low and high elevation with the DPM on the sled. Had a small problem with the pipe at the end of last year, called them, they told me to send it in even after 2 years they fixed it for free...I would call that pretty good service.

For starters the Micku's could ride elans and make them look good. I have heard some O.K. things about some bikeman stuff but for the most part I have heard and seen bad. My cousin bought a 1250 bb for his rt 1000 and it was garbage. The workmanship was horrible. There is a reason that bikeman does not make it anymore. For the $6000-$7000 my cousin payed it was pretty pathetic. At one point during the winter bikeman called my cousin to ask what he was running for setup. That seem *** backwards in my opinion. That machine with me riding it was a little quicker up the hill than my 07 800 with an slp kit and that was on that sleds best day. Most days it was getting beat up on by 800s. Imho stay away I would look at more reputable people such as rk tek, slp and big John. I had a sled with a drop in kit from rk tech and it pulled hard. Probably your best bang for your buck.

Bikeman stuff = junk poor customer service.Spend your money with someone who will backup what thay sell.
