bikeman durabililty kit with billet head?

Isn't the durability kit new for this year? My buddy is going to run this in his 2011 with their billet high altitude domes.

In the Process of installing BMP's Durability kit in my 2011 RMK Pro. Had the Mono block checked, and was within specs, so a light hone, double checked all specs and clearance (all was ok) had to adjust ring end gap, now awaiting new head O rings from dealer to finish things up. Looking forward to trying this kit out. Engine had 2300 trouble free miles on it, all mountain miles, so I wanted to do a fresh top end, and decided to add a sense of security. I will be running stock head for the first part of the season, then upgrading to their High Altitude Billet Head.

not to side track but how did your pistons kook Rev Kev?
and why did you pick the bmp kit ?
thanks

I am no fan of BMP product over all.
I got a smoking deal of there billet head. So I used it on the IQR monoblock build a couple years ago.
After it all came together I will say they sold an awesome head at a good price. I would not hesitate to buy another Billet BMP head after that one.

Pistons looked good, I did not measure the old ones to see if the Skirts were collapsing, but the rings were flaking slightly, only on the top ring. Compression before any work was done was at 115psi on the Mag and 118 on the PTO. Keep in mind, this was after 2300 miles, all on VES Gold. I picked the BMP kit due to Price and availability, I Picked my Kit up at hay days, and after talking to Joey at Hay Days, I was sold that this kit would fit my needs and Budget, as they were offering a good show deal, and had them in stock.

cool
i'm nearing that fatefull 2000 miles on 11 pro and looking into options
i need to do an compresson test that seems to be a good peek at worn
piston/rings etc.
funny how different sleds wear differently have a riding buddy putting a new
top end in his 11 and 3000 miles pistons look great :face-icon-small-dis

i personaly think 2000 mt miles on a sled and you need new pistons
these 2strokes work hard

do you guys know who I could get a hold of at bikeman to ask some questions or even someone on snowest to pm from bikeman and ask?

I talked with Joey Strub, was very informative, and knew the product well.
