I have had a good experience with bike man and some not all of their products work and make power. I expect all companies have products that work and some that don't. They also have some good people but when things go wrong we form the negative opinion you mentioned here.

had the bikeman can (the lighter, louder one) on two pros all last winter, ran awesome,sounded great, 750 miles,great fit and finish! They are now on 12 pros.
