Bike-Weber Canyon- 3pt. deer- MIRACLE!

So I hear that a friend of mine is involved in an accident so I have to go get the story from him. He tells me that Saturday night he is heading down Weber canyon with a buddy and out of nowhere he gets slammed by something and next thing he realizes that he and his bike are on the ground. After he realizes that he was just in a bike wreck he stands up, looks around and sees that he is ok and can walk around. He then looks back down the road to see a 3 point deer down in the road, that died shortly after. Completely unbelievable that he was able to walk away from this with only a few minor scratches. He estimated that he hit the deer between 50-60mph. He was wearing only casual clothes pictured below with a helmet and riding gloves. UHP & EMT’s couldn’t believe he walked away from this. Here are the pictures he sent me.

That is one lucky dude! You should take him to Vegas before his good luck runs out! I have a freind that hit a deer on the road above the B and he ended up in a cast up to his hip for 3 months follwoed by plenty of PT.

Damn thats a pretty nice buck! Too bad he couldnt tag that sucker and get the last laugh as he jerkeyed his ***.
He's lucky. I'm always worried about that when I'm riding around dusk in the mountains.

Beyond Lucky!
Having a deer jump out of nowhere always goes thru my mind on a curvy road cruise.
X2 on headin' to Vegas with him

One reason I don't own a street bike anymore...

One lucky sob!

Damn lucky dude...and I bet he wears more gear next time.

I had a run in just like him a few weeks back, but I saw the deer and was able to slow down some from 60. Walked away with some worn out gloves and jeans, scuffed boots and coat.

New riding rule for me, 5:30 am is too early to be out and dusk is too late.

Glad he came out OK, did he get any rash?

Amazing! Incredibly lucky. I can't believe he doesn't even have road rash. I can't believe he took a good deer with good genetics out of the gene pool....looks like 1 year too early too.:face-icon-small-ton
