I called up to Bear Lodge to set up rooms for March 1,2,3,4 and there booked solid. Do I have any other options? If anyone cancels I will take there room. Thanks

you can always check with arrowhead lodge or the elk view they are all owened by the same people as bearlodge should have something available

:director:Didn't you tell them you have a 2011 pro RMK 163? I would think that alone would be enough to kick someone else out and give their room to you......I would:face-icon-small-hap

Yup, its tough to get rooms there right now. We had a similiar problem when we went so we ended up with 4 guys in one room.:nono: Elk view and arrowhead were both booked as well? You can stay in dayton or ranchester and drive back and forth but that sucks.

Good luck man.

The crabby lady on the phone says she books rooms for bear and one other. Not sure of the other one.

I would never drive a outdated 2011 PRO! 2012 all the way baby!! Was heading to Cooke but that place scares me with my old age, another avalanche death today... No good

oops, they all look the same 2012 I meant. I have lost track of time with my 09 XP and my old age. Someday I hope to go to Cooke.

All three lodges are booked for the next month. Bear books for themselves and Arrowhead and Elkview books themselves. It's been FULL every weekend up there all year for the most part. We have been staying in Sheridan this year as we follow the snow and can't book far enough ahead, like this weekend. They had 10 groups on the waiting list today. It sucks, but not as bad as living in SE ND. You can dolly your trailer at the parking lot at Bear and the drive up and down is a little better. Plus side is there are a lot of food and drink choices in Sheridan.

I cancelled our plans for the Bighorns and we are heading to Cooke City instead... It was even tough getting rooms there today for next week... Might have to get a winter equipped diesel pusher RV when I win the lottery..LOL

No snow in the midwest. 12000$ sleds going to ride them somewhere there is snow. What about high country has anyone stayed there this year is it open. Thanks in advance

Haven't been up there for quite a few years. What's the phone service like, cell or land line? Does bear have Internet service?
