big wheel kit from mountain machine

Im curious if anyone has installed the big wheel kit on their apex or rx-1 and what size you did. Im thinking of doing the 2 wheel kit to be able to carve a little better but i dont know if it will hurt me with the balance of these sleds. thanks

Put the 8" 2-wheel kit on pre-season, just over 770 miles with no problems. I wish I had 162"rails, it would look a lot cleaner without those damn extensions. Oh well ... I had a PEI 2-wheel kit that broke, then a stocker MPI 8" kit - this MMP kit is super strong with really good quality.

never mind about which kit that is i didn't ready carefully enough to what you said but im still curious about if there are any cons on the 2 wheel kit on our sleds.

i love my mountain machines kit i did the freedom axle with just 2 wheels for no with 8 inchers top notch product

I have run the freedom axel and 2 8" wheels for the last two seasons on my T Apex without any issues.

Hyfax wear?

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the Yammie machines and have a few questions on running the 8" wheels on the inside on a stock 06 Apex...

- do you have higher hyfax wear on hard pack? I run scratchers, but want to make sure I don't fry them if we need to run for a long period of time on hard pack.

- how hard is it to drop the rear suspension out? I have ridden Cats in the past and those were easy, but would like everyone's input.

- Is it worth the $250 to run 2 wheels?
