Saw some blue (snow) in the general area of the Rubies by satellite this morning

Maybe it will be cold enough for the tail end of this storm hitting WA, ID, MT and BC to bring some snow instead of all rain to CA-NV?

I don't know how much cause the forecast predict no snow?

I sure hope so!! I love looking out my window in the morning and seeing those beautiful peaks all white!!

Rumor has it the north end of things is looking better than the Rubies?

Mammothweather says some areas received 6 inches to a foot but were south of Mammoth. They did not talk about the Rubies.

No MAJOR storms predicted next 7 days BUT some light (few inches) snow flurries.

Rubies barely have any snow and where there is snow, it's all up high. Say 1000' below the dome is the snow line. Up north (just past Wildhorse, Maggie summit area) there was about 8" 2 weeks ago. We were up there scouting for an elk hunt and were in it all day. And we weren't even up that high.
