Big Dog Choppers? Any seat time

I heard they were great on snow. NOT. I do like the look of some of their models and would be a great time of year to pick one up a competitive price.
Any seat time on one? Heard strictly 100 mile per trip, bike.

Guy I worked with had one and would constantly ride 200+ a day on it. Don't know how he did it though. I rode it for 10 miles and OUCH!
They are awesome bikes, but IMO not great for a day of riding or long trips.

I have heard their soft tails aren't as brutal. But with a 300wide tire you have to imagine it is quite uncomfortable. Just have always wanted one.

My boss has a couple of them. I rode his soft tail to st. george and back. It wasnt to bad. If I had an extra 50 to 60 grand laying around I would get one for sure. I love the power they have.

I really like the look of the choppers but hear you in regards to the reliability. Heck, I took the plunge on a cat and it has been a disaster. Can't be much worse than that!

Chopper

Ive got a 05 big dog chopper. I love it. rode to sturgis and all the black hills. 3years now. Rides better and more comfortable than my friends night train. I have 22000 on it. Ya a lot of work but who rides a sled on here that doesnt work on it? I love my dog and the wife wont ride anything else. :
