Just to follow up on the BDSO.
It was canceled because of the poor snow conditions for most of the year. With our event held so late in the season we need a good year of snow to ensure that the snowline is low enough to accommodate the parking situation and hillclimbing. Yes we had a lot of snow here in the last month but back in January we could not predict this. So all of this and the tough economic times we had to cancel.
The last thing we wanted was people to plan a trip and spend lots of money for an event that could not go on as planned( meaning the hillclimbs).
On that note we plan on being back for 2010. Therewill be some changes and once everything is finalized you guys and gals will be the first to know.
