Big Chute Turbo Clutching

I am wondering what people are running for springs and what kinda weights and how much for there big chute turbos. I am going to try my new stock secondary for a bit but willing to change that up to.

As far as clutching goes there are a few different ways that guys are doing it. I am fairly confident that the Canadians have been running cutler turbo mag weights. Evolution was running d&d weights. I have been running MDS weights with a polaris gold spring. I also have been running a 36/44p helix. I am happy with this setup. I would like to go to a different helix but honestly am to cheap to try something different.

So here is my personal recommendation. This will work at higher elevations but will likely be hard to keep off the rev limiter at low elevations (under 5000 ft). Due to the wickedness of the torque coming on so fast with good air.

Mds weights gold hex bolts with nuts.
Polaris gold spring
40-44 or 40-46 helix.

My setup

Bear in mind I'm running a Team Tied, and a BC280 kit...
- Team Rooster weights @ 93g - loaded at tip
- SLP Blk/Red primary spring with delrin washers
- 911 cover
- Team Tied with EVO helix
- Team Blk/Silver secondary spring
- Dayco XTX 5045 Belt
- Avid 7 tooth drivers (Running a 3" x 162" CE)
- stock gear ratio 2.33, no chain case (C3 Syncrodrive)
This setup works very well - last year with BC250 I ran polaris gold primary spring, MDS weights set @ 90g, Team Tied w/58/64.36 helix, and Team blk/white spring. Ironically, engagement hasn't changed much.

Cutler TM 8595 running around 93-94g
Cutler gold spring
38/46 helix
Cat orange or titanium version of that

Probably done close to 100 sets of that since the 1100 came out
