Big chute not pulling right

You have a boost leak.

Take off the hood and check:

All lines going to and from the BRV.
Boost line going from solenoid to turbo.
Intercooler hoses top and bottom.
Turbo intake and outlet hoses.
Throttle body intake and outlet.

Also take the cap off the BRV and grease it and put back together. A malfunctioning BRV will cause it as well as a boost leak.

If you have a boost gauge (obviously you do cuz you know how many pounds!) check the fittings and t's going to and from it.

That's it in a nutshell right there.

I had the hose on the compressor outlet come off multiple times when testing last winter. This was before silicone boost hoses and better clamps. It would make 15lbs. The hose can't go anywhere so it can still leak huge and make boost. My bet is a 2.5" boost hose came off the compressor or throttle body.

test it

Pressure up the system, I used a plug, valve stem from a tire shop and hose clamp. watch your boost gauge and apply air.
my 2 cents.

Piker

Well all I've found was a coolant hose with a hole in it but no boost leaks not to sure where to check next
