Big chute exhaust?

I got my big chute 275 kit in and lots of other goods on route thanks to Wkm. Gene was really easy to deal with and very helpful. But what exhaust size should I use ? 2.5" or should I go 3"? Pros and cons for either would be appreciated

You need 2.5". 3" won't hurt you and if you ever upgrade from there a 3" would be good. I would personally go with 3" on the 275 kit if it was an option. Really on the 4 stroke anything past the turbo is just restriction.

There won't be any performance difference between the 2.5" and 3". The 3" is a little bit louder and it looks dam cool, if you like BIG pipes.

....and if you did upgrade to a SC kit the 3" wouldn't fit on there, turbo outlet is different. Although when you see a 3" on a SC it is stunning...

What about underhood temps?

If you're talking exhaust temp differences it won't be an issue worth debating. I would wrap either one either way.
