any of you guys tried to run a larger turbo on your 4 strokes yet...30 series garretts or larger...there were some 4 stroke monsters at the fernie drags last weekend but they didnt come out on top..two smokers did well winning the overall and the 2 gs

micku's did pretty good..all 20 of em - orange vests everywhere i looked
dumbass racing had a mean machine that walked 600 feet in low 6's --it scared children and old people

local boy darcy took the overall with his cutler 1150 and trailer full of nos..probaly gets a deal from nasa

only thing representing cr racing was my cousins gas rack wtf where was rated r..

great event though..still cant feel my fingers

the big 2s running nos are hard to beat in 600ft they lauch so hard.i know paul at impulse runs the 3071s but you need nitrous to spool them fast for short drags or a stutter box.

you can set them up with a switch that shuts of after boost comes on,arm it hit the throttle switches it on then when boost builds nitrous shuts off.thats how most boosted sleds use nitrous.

stu stu stu stutter button is great as long as you dont hold it for too long

half the issue in the shorter drags was the starting line icing up from the machines tearing it up..so many people not getting off the line in time

i think the 3071 can still run a smaller t 25 hotside housing as well for a faster spool up....would need to check the maps to see where they come in
