Beware 3900 dollar turbo kit for dragon

The turbo kit for polaris dragons does not work and is a horrible copy of the boondocker kit. This kit requires that you have access to a welding shop and machine shop. The charge box needs major mods to work it blows boost pressure out the side at 6 psi boost. The exhaust shows up with the turbo flange for turbo and a piece of pipe crushed in a vice unwelded. The fuel pressure regulator is the wrong one it will starve engine for fuel above 10 psi boost and burn engine down. The control box is terrible overfuels at idle and setting are wrong. Oil tank is a copy of boondocker oil tank but has no vent so after about an hour of riding tank pressure up and blows oil out the return side of turbo and causes a fire hazard. I threw out the entire fuel system and bought a boondocker control box. The charge tube does not fit had to be modified. The only thing that worked right was the clutching it was good. There was no boost controller supplied without it the turbo would have boosted till engine blew up. In the end it worked with the bd box very well but 748.56 more then buying the boondocker kit so i am less then impressed about this and was lied to by the seller. Think everyone should no im not the only one who has this prob with kit have been contacted by others that wasted there money on this kit so beware. THERE IS A REASON BOONDOCKERS KIT IS 600 DOLLARS MORE BECAUSE IT HAS HAD R&D AND IT WORKS NO MESSING AROUND JUST PULL AND RIDE. I DO NOT PUT DOWN STUFF THAT WORKS THIS DOESNT IT WILL BLOW YOUR ENGINE THE WAY IT IS SOLD IF YOU CAN GET IT INSTALLED.

Silber I am sorry you are mad that I was not able to get BD boxes for you with the ADA systems for your kits like you wanted so bad but BD will not allow me to sell them to you same with the charge tubes and airbox systems you wanted. The BD kits speaks for itself as well as I take my time with the installs to make sure they are right I fallow ALL my kits up with phone calls and make sure everything is up to par not every kit goes as planned so I understand I have made my fair share of mistakes as well. I will post a link below to the reviews you and others can go through them if you want.

As far as me sounding stupid to you well I can spend all day on the phone with you giving you all my info but I knew and got wind from your buddies that you were planning to take the BD kit to the fab shop so why would I do that when I knew you were building your own kits so why would I feed you with info?? I hope you understand this now. When it comes to EFI systems parts yes sometimes I can’t help I have to fall back on BD but this is the nice part I can get help from many angles were a single kit builder that is a one man show can’t ever do this for there customer also what happens when a few years down the road I have seen this many times over the years guys are left high and dry later on.

I was helping Greg in Cananda free of charge he works oil rigs and only has a very limited amount of time to ride so when things were not working at all I was able to next day air a BD box to him I did this because I wanted to help him out. The BD box worked and that was all that mattered. After talking with Greg on the phone for a few hours he is such a great guy and knows his stuff he is also now helping me with my Polaris RZR project and tune as well he works on some very trick stuff from the sounds of it so to call him inexperienced when you don’t know him sounds kind of well???? He was just very frustrated that nothing fit right also to say the kits can’t be welded up before hand?? The BD kits are jig welded, laser cut templates, and parts are broke on the press so the stuff fits like a glove.

There is allot of PM’s we have shared that would show all the questions you have asked me that a kit builder should never even have to ask but I am not going into a pissing match with you and post this stuff up it’s just not worth it and very unprofessional. I don’t have the time I have been so busy setting up sleds and going out on rides to make sure they are working up to par that I was not able to go down and ride with you like I wanted. But bashing me is not going to help your kit quality.

I have to say that Justin has made a great kit that performs great, is easy to install, and is well price. He is a good guy to work with and im sure will help with any problems that arise. These kits are fitted on a sled before being shipped so they will fit easily when you receive them. Im sorry to hear that someone had problems with the kit but a simple phone call could have cleared things up and solved the issues and questions.
