Better track for the 2013 Pro rmk?

I have a 2013 pro and buddy has a 2014 assault. both 155's. I noticed that with the stiffer track on his sled it grabbed a little harder which i like. The soft pro track just flexes a little to much when not in the deep stuff. My other friend was out with his 2014 M8 153". The powerclaw track on his sled seemed to be a good stiffness all around. I was thinking of doing a swap for the powerclaw if it is even possible???? Or are there better options?

There is a huge amount of info on running the powerclaw track. I personally love the comp. track on my Assault. For where i ride its perfect. What alot of people do with the pro track is trim the lugs down. Lots of write-ups on that also.

Many posts on this topic.
The 2013 pro has a track pitch of 2.86 it can be changed but much simpler to install a track with that pitch.
Options that are popular: Cam Extreme 2.5 and the 2.6 Powder claw.

if your looking into the comp track I might be selling mine off my 2011 assault 155 with 1400 miles on it. PM me if interested

I'm not a fan of the assault track just because it's almost too stiff. I have seen assaults with lugs broken off because of this. Hit something hard with the track and there just isn't enough give there sometimes to absorb the impact. The powerclaw is stiffer than the pros but not as stiff as the assaults.

Trim about 1/8" off the outer lugs of your stock RMK track. Don't touch the center lugs. It makes a remarkable difference in hook up on firmer snow. And you don't lose the great powder performance of the stock track.

I ran the PC 2.5 on my 13 last yr. I would not ever do it again, it was a waste of money. If you are wanting a little stiffer, do the F-Bomb track mod. trim it, way more bang for your buck. If you are doing any track swapping go with Carl's 3" Camo and drivers. They are using just on center driver with there Track design.
