What tracks have you guys had better luck with for an apex? The track needs to be changed soon and thinkin about trying something else besides the maverick. also sled will be boosted in a year or so if that is a factor.
thanks

We really like the camo extreme 16" 162" 2.5" . New $675 from Tracksusa.

It makes a huge difference, we have turbo's but I would think it would still be a plus if we did'nt.

x2... powerclaw may be good, but doesn't have the miles under it yet that the camo extreme does.

If you like to boondock if i had it to do again I would do a 15 wide 16 2.5 was tough to side hill

what does everyone think of the maverick? I thought it was good but never rode or compared anything else.

Maverick no gooder

Even not on boost, have heard of issues w/ Maverick... Freelheeler I know put one on a lightened, normally aspirated RX1 and it was toast w/in 500 miles. Seems that the lugs would tear off very easily if spinning and going over stuff?

I like the maverick under a 200 hp sled its great-- great powder track its issue under a turbo sled is lack of traction. You will loose a lot of drag races but other than that I had no issues

I have close to 6000km on my Maverick and it has been excellent. 3000km or so boosted. It gets a bad wrap all the time, not sure why. I would go with the Camo Extreme next.

Camo extreme is the way to go on boosted sleds in the steep and deep, it also helps slow you down when going back down and that right there is worth everything.

Apex Maverick works good if you run it backwards. 1500k on boost under my Nytro and the paddles are still straight. I have no qualms about running the track. My son says the Camo Extreme worked awesome on his boosted Apex and gives alot more control going downhill. Gonna try a 162 x 16 for myself on the new TNytro I am building
