better than a sled deck on a avalanche?

Holy cow. The dynamic loads on those 4x4's would be crazy. You'd go around a corner and see the shelf go sliding right through the side of the trailer!!

No. I think I'll stick with the Avy!!

trailer worked great

I just pulled this setup to Island Park from the twin cities. 1100 miles and the sleds didn't move an inch. We anchored the platform to the trailer and it stayed in place as well. The roads were terrible, when we left the twin cities I-94 and I-90 had just opened. Roads were very icy, drifts across half of the roads. So even with the bad road conditions they stayed nice and snug.

Speaking of a contraption, two of us on this trip just helped bamfm7 put up a 55 foot windmill in his backyard. Along with his waste oil burner and his veggie oil refinery!!!!:D

Pretty cool...seen a contraption in McBride one year,it was a school bus cut in half with a double sled deck on the rear and six or eight air ride captains chairs and a wood burning stove in the cab! What an awesome rig. Wish I had pics of that thing to post. I believe they were BC boys from the Okanagon.

EASY NOW, No need to pick on the guy that is stuck at home and at work ALL WEEK :mad: I'm glad you guys made it out there W/0 a problem :beer;

We have an enclosed trailer that will haul 9-10 mountian sleds. The only time it has that many sleds in it is when we pull it with a nice diesel pusher.

Our decks are made of steel, and steel supports going up the wall. Each rack has a winch too. 4 sleds on the racks and 4-5 on the floor. Eric
