So I have an opportunity to pick up some better boards on trade from my buddy for my 12 pro. I just wanted some thoughts from you buys that are running them? Are they a lot better than the stock boards? Any stiffer?? Let me know what ya think. I might try em out..

They worked great.
I used a grinder to cut off the forward most raised rib so my boots wouldnt get caught on it as much when they were all the way in the footwell.
Light years better than stock, overall, loved them.

We put 2013 Polaris Pro RMK stock boards on our 2011 Pro RMK. So much better. :face-icon-small-win I have not tried the better boards but I think they are similar to the newest (2013, 2014) Polaris Pro RMK boards. So,hell yeah! Do it!:face-icon-small-ton
The 2011, 2012 boards suck.

Better Boards are good, Burandt style are better, and the open type such as Airframes, VEI, and others are the best.

I have Better Boards on my 12 PRO and like them, much better than the stock 11 or 12 boards. Wish I had 13 Burandt Boards. May put them on this season.

Burandt Boards are 10x nicer than the better boards, plus they give you a much nicer look on the sled. As far as the money goes, they are even better than Airframes, and I own a set of those too. Burandt gets my vote.

The outside extrusion is the same. The ribs are wider on the Burandts Boards. I compared them to stock on the day I picked mine up. Did not measure but each rib appeared to be about 3/16" wider.

You guys should take a look at b&m fabrications boards, just like a airframe for $350 powder coated. look em up! plus I like that it's a small personable shop.

Gman - I like the idea of those, BUT I always wondered if you retained enough bite from the factory "teeth" around the holes. Not an issue?

I worried about that too - not an issue! Most of the bite is coming from the side of the rails which are unaffected by the inserts.

Have FUN!
