Better bars

Has any one tried them. I am looking for the oem bars for a project sled iam working on .I Have not bent mine on my dragon yet so I do not want too replace them and waiting to see how the new pro holds up before I spend any more on the 07.

if you really haven't bent yours on your dragon, than your sled would be the first one i've ever seen that hasn't bent, you must have gotten a good set. the better bars are far and away a better product than the stock bars, not only do they not bend like the stockers they stiffen up the chassis a lot, which in turn makes it much more responsive to body position and weight transfer.

I'm a small rider and I bent my bars...

I just orderd a set of the Bars after riding a sled with them installed... much stiffer than the original and they may add some rigidity to the chassis too. Super high quality and less expensive than the stock ones they replaced.

I ordered another set of better boards for my new project sled too... the past 2 sleds that I had them on were made night and day better with this small addition... beautiful black pow coat to boot!!

They are almost all bent when you actually get them off and look at them.

But so are the pro's...mine is already wowed just from people jumping on and test standing at just two sled shows! Have not even ridden it yet. The demo sleds all had extensive wow factor as well.

I suppose we are going to have to bring a BETTER solution to that sled as well!

100% no BS...you ride your sled with Better Bars and it reacts quicker to your impulses. Plain and simple our chromoly bars do not flex like the simple steel factory bars and they have a 66% stronger yield rate! All that for $200 instead of $249 for stock! Pick your custom hard coat color or go stock black.

We extensively tested these bars on multiple sleds prior to ever offering them for sale. Well over 10,000 miles of hardcore multi -sled testing proves that it is A MUCH BETTER PRODUCT FOR YOUR IQ RAW SNOWMOBILE! Once again "BETTER" beats stock!

We had no idea that would be the result as we were simply trying to bring a stronger product to you guys at a cheaper cost then the factory OEM. The net result is you get a FREE BONUS in performance.

I also installed the better bars along with Better Boards, couldn't pass them up with the Combo deal they offered.

Just wish they had offered a raw steel look for those of us doing our own/custom powdercoating

Bad news we do have a big batch unfinished and had we known you could have got them special. We coat daily and try to keep a selection of colors on hand for distributors, dealers, and direct orders.

I can't wait to see more photos when your buggy is done and cleaned up. Love that color scheme...brings back memories of one of my favorite all time sleds!

Also really anxious to have you guys report your ride findings after using them. I want to see if the regular consumer is as excited about the results as our test group.

I got mine unfinished ... thank you Rob!!

I can say this... I research this stuff a lot before getting a new product... Based on the quality of work that my better boards have been in the past, how well they work and how well they are made, the powdercoating has held up on my better boards with no problems...

I'm really liking how stiff these bars are!

I cant decide between better boards/bars or the skinz air frame running boards. I know they are both worthy products but the skinz are newer and have less reviews and are also over $100 more.

Im sure i would be happy with both i know the better boards/bars are 100% proven and reccomended but i like the idea of the skinz air frame running boards being they are an inch wider than stock and there would be ZERO snow buildup.

Anyone installed the skinz boards yet?

Great product Rob

For those of you on a budget. Back in 07 when i got my new RMK and after the first ride the bars were bent i removed them from the sled, cut them in half (at an angle so i could match them up afterwards) and inserted a thicker wall tube inside (cant remember what size OD or ID tube anymore). then welded the 1/2's back together. Drilled the holes thru the new inner tube and installed them back on the sled. This was a cheap and easy fix. I ran the sled like this until last year when i sold it and never had them crack, bend or break. By the way, i'm a big guy weighing in at 280+ lbs. Its a simple cheap alternative. Although if i wasnt on a budget i'd be going thru Rob next time around.
