Best way to sell a Pistol? D/E .357 mag

Never sold any guns before and was curious how you all went about selling your guns?

I have a Desert Eagle thats been sitting around and I'd like to turn it into a sled deck.

I bought it new, gun broker has them going for 900 bux http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=119324109

Thought I'd ask a bit less at $850? and throw in the rest of my .357mag ammo.

I have turned a bunch of guns at the 24hr campfire. com. being a pistol it has to be shipped ups or fed ex to a dealer or else face to face. no dice on the usps.

I'm actually looking for a handgun. I don't know if a 357 is the one I want, I have been looking for a .45. Being I live in Olympia, we are a bit apart. I get to cle elum frequently which is still not close but could possiblly meet somewhere. What is the make of this gun? Not that I am a gun expert at all but I've never seen a 357 that isn't a revolver type.

You're not supposed to sell them on craigslist, but I've seen quite a few guns on there. It depends on the heading of the post if it will get flagged right away.

You can sell guns in your local classifieds (legally)
