Best way to install fire and ice vents on 2013 pro rmk

I have the nose cone carbon fiber vents and the lower side panel ones, was curious what would be easiest to make a nice easy clean install.. was thinking of using a hole saw up front on the nose cone vs cutting a big triangle out thought it might weaken the plastic ... any ideas on whats the best way to approach this!

Thanks

Holes are easier and gives a bit more strength. I did my iq vents full cut outs and it was a pain in the *** and my panels flexed easier.

I like to use a dermal, and would probably cut the whole area out with the smaller vents. If you don't want to lose support, you could leave a 1/2" to 3/4" strip in the center.

hey

I tryed using a hole saw, only problem is there is a valcro type material on the left hand side front nose conse peice if your sitting on the sled, im assuming its there to protect from the pipes heat? is it needed? because the hole saw keeps catching it and making a mess

I installed them on my pro rmk. Drill the corner holes one at a time and put a rivet in each hole as you go. Mark the corners with a scratch and tape a line to see where to cut. Cut out with dremel, mock up vent to make sure there isn't any plastic showing in the vented area, and install rivets. I would cut out the whole area that is vented. If you want to leave a piece ofplastic, make sure you hide it behind the frame of the vent.
