I have 10-56 in the sled now and If I go to 10-54 will that increase the RPM too much? What it the best place to remove weight from the 10-56's if I only need a gram or so.

I wouldnt pull weight..I would find a new primary spring with a little more tension(add 20 pds up top)..if you take off to much weight you end up with the weights not allowing full shiftout and sometimes even removing several grams wont raise rpm when you get on the light side......if you end up to high on rpm then add weight ..which also makes a more consistent setup as far as elevation/snow conditon changes....
