Looking to get some feed back from those who have vented their sleds and what the have found between different manufactures.

Holz ones are aluminum and will bend when I jamb my knee into it and trees bend them also, then I take them off straighten them and put them back on, unlike the mesh ones That I have to replace when they get all ripped up!

im not sure what exactly your looking for lorne but you could rig up your own and they'd be better than most out there IMO.

tramp material is tuff as nails (fine mesh), but will still flex and wont bend like the aluminum. Also tramp material repels well.

the abs plastic ads strength to the cut out / vented area.

My .02c

Wow had no idea that there were so many vent companys now!,,,,or that skadi was a chick!!! LOL:face-icon-small-win

Im a big fan of the New polaris vents... they have really steped up....another great company would have to be fire n ice! my 2 cents

The 2012 Poo vents are Junk, No pre filter material on the clutch side! Just plastic window screen in a aluminum frame

I also have a 11 pc vent set For the PRO.
from the top down:
windshield,
fresh air on left console flat spot, with slp powder valve behind it.
belly pan pair.
inner doors just above rubbers.
lower door where 800 decal goes.
and footwell vents.

They are laser cut with rivet holes,Abs Plastic,Black or white.
Plastic's Company says you can Paint it. SO any color could be an option
Vent kits are going in to dealerships daily.
These vents are Family Made,With Pride ! ( I wish I had more kids I would have more help)
Thats why we are Taylors three :face-icon-small-ton

Mike, you've been holding out on us. I just order foot well vents from you already. Whats the price on your hood vents?

2cool has a lot of different options for the pro. One of the coolest, is a removable vent on the long center section on the hood (clutch side) that vents as well as provides easy access to a hot dogger or muffpot. Very top notch quality and service. You can also have them customize the vents if you are into that.

Ive always had good look with 2cool vents, I put a set on my 2012 pro and the fit and finish is top notch.

X2 on the 2 cool vents. I looked at a lot of the others before I bought 2cools vents. IMO they are some of the best for quality. I've seen some of the cheaper guys vents warp up after a few rides from the heat. The 2cools that I have have handled the heat from a turbo and abuse from my lack of skill (think trees) without so much as a mark. They hold up extremely well and filter the snow perfectly.

I like the 2cool vents myself. I think they fit the panel well and look the best. I also just installed the holz stirup vent kit to let air flow through the engine compartment.

I Agree with 2cool Hood vents to be the best for the pro,
Since it does not have hinges.
To have the vent pop out to access your goggle bag or hot dogger.
Is A Big Plus!
We have not had goog luck with vents on the door panels.
too many pokey things,or riding your sled on its side accross logs and stuff.
I have used all manufacturers vents,Some work Some Dont
The Hard part is to find the best place for the vent to do as intended.
without losing integrity of the sled.
After riding the pros all last year we found alot of tree marks on our side panels. Only vent that got hurt was was a side panel on a 09 dragon.
it was a xxxmod door vent, tree ripped rivets and tore the vent to sh&t.
Plus Remember alot of people dont use any vents. And seem to get by fine
while some one who's sled is vented goes down.
take that for what its worth...

Running with Fire-n-Ice vents on mine and love them. They are brushed aluminum frames and look great. Also have their front bumper option and looks and performs great as well. You really should check them out.
