looking to go from a three wheel stock setup to a two wheel inside setup and wanting to know what everybody's opinions are on who makes the best setup.

well i use the 2 wheel kit from mm (mountain machines). i run the 9 inch on my apex,,i love it. makes carving and side hilling easier, to me any way,plus i have banged into rocks and logs and they have kept up with my riding which is rough at times..oh yeah they look good too..coming out of the trailer in the parking lot.

i saw them on e bay from a company ipm (idaho percision machine). selling them for much cheaper and right from the machineist instead of markup. there were i think three different styles and axle kits for doo mostly but i have them making me some old cat stuff.

I used a Avid on my 05 Edge. Very clean machined offset axle. Also used 2 8" wheels from Bruce at Tracksusa.
You can cut your stock equipment then you only need to purchase the outside washers that have the rectangular extrusion for the adjustment the slot.
For Cats you can't beat what Fastlane Inc. offers. Very in-expensive and great quality
Ice Age has a nice billet one that is very strong with billet adjuster blocks also.

Bling on the cheap. Quality seems to be good...The smitty axle is probably worth the extra moolah tho.

x3 I still don't understand why people pay money for something you can do yourself in about 20 minutes. On a poo you don't even need the slotted washers unless you just want it to look prettier
Smitty's kit looks great I love mine. Tricked Toys has some sweet wheels that they did a great job cutting. Extra money but it looks really good.
If you ride a Actic Cat Black diamond has a kit for 20 dollars that works great

I bought some wheels from idaho percision machine off ebay and was suprised at the quality and service you get for the price. Running them on a MM Freedom axle
I got thier adjusting blocks with thier axle and polished it all,I like the machined one piece design without a sleeve.
