I used a sawzall on johnnys boards. That is the 4th set i have done that way, works just fine if you have a SHARP blade.

I've done a few sets with a Sawzall too and there is no comparison.
The air saw is the only way to go. High RPM's and a shorter blade:D

I use a plasma cutter

X2!!!
Like a hot knife through butter with ne mess:D

I have done 4 sets, some with a die grinder (worst way possible) a sawzall ( ok, but still some mess) and my last set was plasma.

Plasma is the cleanest if you have access to it.

I had a custom set built by (madmax) saw zall, air grinder worked great.
Grinding and drilling out the steel rivets tomorrow and then wrapping it up by our trip to Tog.
SLedhead, are you joining us?

LMAO, I think the 450X may be my new ride of choice after viewing this weeks weather.

However I have put 120 miles on my new top end within the last week.

Now I'll patiently wait for the real snow................

Dan - you should wait until you can take that sled over to my place and have them done correctly....ive done and/or been involved with a few and know what works and does not

XP - well its best to stuff a 1/2" steel bar down the board edge......or it will sag, period!

07 and older Ms have a POS board edge......upgrade to the 08 and newer

the 08 and newer Ms should be OK as the board edge is bomb proof.....but its smart tpo leave as much meat as you can
