To begin with there is no snow base in most of California.
Sierras normally get 50-60 inches of water equivalent ... rain , slush , snail , snow between oct1 and MAR31.
This year it is under 20inches,
Stormimg right now with 4-8 feet around Truckee California to 2-3 down by Los Angeles at 7000 feet.
Might just get the first California ride of the season !
