Best Snow

I know there are many post on this, but want to know where the best conditions are right now, WC, RE's, Mesa, Etc....

I am looking to plan a 4-5 day trip in a week or two and not sure where to go..

Advise? Anyone interested in going?

No major snow in the high country in over 2 weeks, and what is there is gonna be tracked to hell. I'm still heading down South this weekend.

I agree about going south, that is the way I will head as well. Growning up in the Valley one learns the areas that are still going to hold the untouched powder.

RE/Buff is getting snow as we speak. As to how much will actually accumulate, who knows? The wind is sideways and blowing hard. in the last week the marker on Buff went from 4' to a little over 3' and the marker on RE hasn't even hit 2' yet.

I'm holding out till a big dump comes, after my good ride at WC a couple weekends ago it hasn't snowed in the mountains. It's pretty weak out there right now, but what you do with that is all on you.

That last system blew right over Colorado and Southern Wyoming. Idaho and Jackson got hit hard but it's been sunny and subzero here for the last couple weeks.

Warm today in the mountains around vail it was in the 40's. what little snow we have is melting. unbelievably pathetic winter and it shows no sign of snow in the near future.
