Best shop/service in Utah?

I just had a question for all you fellow Utah snowesters out there. I am new to sledding, having just bought my first sled this year (97 mtn max 700). I was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of a good mechanic/shop to get work done on my sled. I appreciate any and all help, thank you.

For Yamaha we have used Big Pine sports in Fairview for 20+ years. Great guys down there and great service. Its about 1 hr 45 min drive south of Salt Lake but well worth the drive. I guess it helps that we go ride down that way all the time.

If you don't want to pay the high shop rates and still get great service, look up BB454 on here. His name is Gary Canfield, and he lives in the Cottonwood area IIRC. Great guy, fast turn around, and very reasonably priced.

Powerhouse for sure. Been everywhere. Create a good relationship with Matt Hasara down there and he will take care of you for life.

snipe hunt

So far my hunt for a good Yamaha dealer in Utah has been a snipe hunt. Dick's and Full Throttle definitely leave something to be desired. Plaza is maybe a wee bit better. Those are the 3 I've tried so far and I've been way way way less than impressed. I might just be a spoiled brat though who is used to dealing with Cutlers who is absolutely top notch. If that Power something place in PG turns out to be good, let me know, that would be a great find.

The Edge Powersports - this shop is now my favorite and gets all my business, not because i know peolpe who work here but because they finally have some great employees who truly understand the equipment/gear/mods. Bikes- anyone who loves a KTM should consider this a one-stop-shop, they have it all and know it all, i urge anyone who thinks they love their jap 450 to ride a correctly setup KTM 300, you will be much faster and gain tons of confidence.

Powerhouse - Matt treats anyone like his best friend regardless if you spend $5 or $5000, but understand this shop is more of a mod shop as apposed to a big name dealer.

Cutlers - The young guy behind the parts desk is great to deal with, Dale "bill" will chat it up with anyone for 5 hours if you lover to talk shop

Thanks that's good info on the KTM!! I bought my son a KTM Senior Pro 50 and I can't keep the clutch in it! Frustrating that I can buy a primary for a Polaris cheaper than I can buy a tiny little clutch for that KTM! And now he wants to start racing it and I'm not sure I can handle that elephant!
