I'm woundering what's the best rear suspention for a Nytro MTX with turbo? I ride pretty hard on the trails and the stock skid dosen't hold togheter. have bent 2 axels and the quickrods also.. How is the Ez ryde suspention? the M10 is to much $$$.. what's your's 2c?

If you ride your mt sled that hard on the trail and the stock suspension won't hold up. after market mt suspensions will ride better but really is made for mt riding not trail. If you want your sled to last you have to options slow down or buy a trail sled. I choose to ride easy on the trail and save my mt sled for the mt riding just my 2 cents.

ondast....I'm with you! I just bought a new MTX and am putting a Turbo on it...I want to be able to thrash the trails as well as the hills. From what I've seen, the EZ Ryde looks the best, but I've also been contemplating mapping out some rails on CAD and building my own skid. I know that you could build one that is much lighter than stock, but near bomb proof!!!

Ofcourse thats an option but our snow/trail conditions here in Sweden is a bit diffrent from yours. Our trails use to look like a snow X course..
Well, next year i'm thinking of building a RTX SE and extend it to 144"-151", VE tunnel and MCX turbo.. maybe that skid will hold up..

what ever suspension you choose put really good shocks on it. when I think of trails I think of ours in north idaho and they suck you could break anything on them. you have any snow in sweden yet.

The skid on the XTX looks pretty bomber, and it's a 144" I thought about getting this sled, but was unsure what it would be like with a Turbo'd 144 in the hills? Might be fun, but it might wheelie like a SOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yepp, that is a "must do" here in sweden on a mountain sled..IMO.. I have floats in front and Öhlins in the skid.

yes we do have a little. not that much, maybe 3" up here.. they have a bitt more 400 miles south.. maybe 2 feet at its best. no panic yet. :)
