Any one know of a good/cheaper place to buy 1 cylinder, 1 head and 2 pistons for an M1000? I really don't like the dealer by me and would rather take my money else where.

i would send the cylinders out and have them fixed or resleaved.might be cheaper than buying new ones

we had some pretty bad luck with us chrome this year, 2 sleds with flaking nik. one cat, one doo, sent to them over a month apart if I recall.


Btw, I've got a stock head I'd sell if you're interested.

oh, also contact free agent for cat parts.

Millenium has them instock. Exchange.

Also if you are interested AC does sell a reman cylinder. It is about $350. I would have to look and see what the part number is for Cat. IMO I would run Cat pistons and rings.

Arctic Cat sells replated cylinders for almost all their engines. List price is $249.95 your dealer may charge shipping to return the core..
Just take the part number and add the letter "P" at the end
3007-243P CYLINDER,1000-PLATED $249.95

Or you can send them to millinium to be repaired.

Definitely use Millennium Technologies if you send your cylinders out, they do excellent work, and I have not heard any negative press about them
