good price on a Nytro

Hello,
I bought two Nitro's last April. One I got with NO miles on it and paid 8500.00
out the door and the other was snow checked with 300 miles and it was 7500.00 us dollars. I bought them both at a Yamaha dealer in Sublimity, Oregon. I think the dealer is Power Yamaha. They were really great to deal with and I drove 200+ miles to get there. Also, there is no tax in Oregon!
My wife and I are brand new to snowmobiling this year. Gave up my dirt bikes and quads. I rode my friends Polaris sleds and I must say that the Yamaha Nitro is a little harder for me to ride. The Polaris was lower to the ground and seems to be lighter and have a lower center of gravity but after riding for two months on my Nitro's, I feel that I will be able to ride the four strokes just as well. For me I think it is just a steeper learning curve. The dependability of the four stroke is worth a little more time learning to ride it.
Good Luck,

thanks for the reply a54bclw i will try to get ahold of them for a price on one new or used.that dealer is about a 30 hour drive for me but might be worth the drive thanks

I purchased a used one out of the states with 300 miles on it in February, Buddy dropped it off in Lethbridge. I think I paid about 7400. It was already broke in and ready for the turbo!! I came off a 06 800 rev as well. you definitely can fell the weight difference but the 280 hp make the weight difference a distant memory!!

a54bclw i contacted power yamaha in oregon & they will not sell to a canadian customer but thanks for the suggestion to use them i will have to look around to see who else will sell to a canadian customer thanks

I found out the same thing...I was trying to buy a new Nytro and have it shipped to Norway, but they could not sell me a new one...If you know someone in the US, they can buy the sled and have it shipped to you..that's what I'm doing next time...

Bull I'll buy a sled for you...and ride it too! Just send me money:D:D What a sweet deal for us Americans...you foreigners buy our stuff and we use it for you. To quote Borat "I LOVE THIS COUNTRY" I vote we get the propane turbo one at Oregon Trail!

LMFAO!!! Rob, that would be a GREAT deal...I was actually on my way to buy that sled...talked to Jay and he talked to michelle for me...but I just couldn't get myself to pull the trigger...I might sell my Nytro for the same price I have to pay for the Propane one..Let you ride it for a bit (even though you don't like Nytro's) And come get it when I'm over there with the Magazine (the EDITOR wont be comnig this time)...DEAL??? LOL...Michelle just need to find me a SWEEET price on it....:beer;:D

Oh come on Bull get off the purse strings you know you want that sled!!!! 22500.00 is a sweet price and you know it!!!LOL Hell it''s even Autographed.....LOL

best price on nytro

m1000 man how do you like it with the 162 track for me i think a 162 will be overkill i would be happy with 153 or 144 for my riding. i do go to the mountains but not a hole lot to busy at work to get away but i also ride trails, lakes, ditch bang at home when ever i can thanks

20grand 30 grand thats cheap once yah got 40into your turbo sled then you can worry about it being too much.

i don't think the price is to much just the track size (162).i rode with two guys last year both with 162 one new polaris & one cat & both of them bent there rails riding trails & the polaris did it again after trying to drive slower in the trails but what fun is that.

yeah after running my m1000 all last year with a 162 i wouldnt run anything shorter i can turn the m on a dime all my buddies have shorter tracks and they:eek: get stuck i go around them and u want a long track on the nytro with boost to get all the hp to the ground not spinning all over that gets u about nowear in the mountains thats just my 2cents and try to build a nytro for 17000 good luck
