Hello to all.

New here and have found many informative posts and conversations on here . I'm looking to go riding tomorrow and have never ridinI'm Gold Creek or stampede and was trying to figure out which would be my best bet? I'm used to riding Baker/lake Ann areaand have recently moved down this wayso any help would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance
Mike

There is not much snow. So u will be limited to where u can ride. I would not ride in an unfamiliar place right now. Big risk for damage.

12/14 Ride

Some of us will be doing a tuning ride tomorrow. If you are interested look for us at Stampede around 9:00. Look for the Dodge flatbeds, can't miss us.
We're thinking that's the best bet for now.

Thanks smitty. I might head to green water, I have been there before but it's been some time. Hope I find some snow!

Dunno.
We're a bit desperate. I think we'll find enough snow to check out the machines, beyond that? No real expectations.

Its supposed to rain. Snow level is at 7,000 ft for this weekend.
I hope u find snow and miss the rain.

Best place to ride? CANADA. Snow level to high. No new snow. Road ride is all ur gona get with the hard ice crust, that will be melting at 5000 ft

Well once again thank for the info guys. I ended up hitting gold creek with a guy that knows the area and it was mostly a road ride. We did find some ok areas to get off the road but for the most part we just put on road miles. I imagine that area could be lots of fun if it actually had a decent amount of snow. It will be a couple of weeks before I can get back out so I hope the sky pukes a load of snow between now and then!

Road ride

Yes, it was mostly a road ride but at least we got out. It's good to run the machines and get some miles on. Turns out I have a problem with the Pro brakes so maybe I can get it taken care of before the real riding begins.
Still a good ride...

I'm still on the break in on my summit so the road ride wasnt all that bad bud def want to play a little more. My buddy that I went with had a issue with his pro , his break wasn't working right I guess, he also had all the connectors come lose on the toggle switches for his lights and hand warmer. Either way it was nice to get out.

GO HAWKS!!!
