Hi,

Im from Calgary, Alberta and me and my buds want to make a trip down to the states somewhere to ride. What is the best mountain/party town combination? We want sweet terrain plus somewhere that has a couple good bars and an abundance of women is always a plus...

Thanks,
Ryan

I think you might have a tough time with that one...we have some great riding in Priest Lake, but there isn't much for a party town up that way. I think your best bet would be to stay in CDA for the parties and then you've got a good place to ride up on 4th of july pass.

If you stay in Sandpoint, you can pick up race fuel and ride all in the same trip. It's only about a half an hour south of me ;)

WOW... im a tad hungover today so if my reply doesn't make much sense don't hold a grudge...

yea I have been to switzer... however you spell it before boarding and skiing... haven't been for a long time but yea... rich chicks i like that idea :)

Anyways... I am going to focus on not being obviously hungover at work... ttyl boys.

Schweitzer wouldn't be bad, but thats a pretty good drive up and down the mountain when you could stay in Sandpoint for a lot less, and be in walking distance of all the bars in town. If you stay in sandpoint I'd look at riding pack river or trestle creek...packriver is pretty easy to figure out, but trestle you might want to ride with a local to get to the good spots.

i'd say sandpoint or naples. lots of good country up there. priest lake area has a lot to offer but it's always heavily traveled unless you know the good spots.

Hmmm, it would be a lot easier if you would settle for an abundance of good bars and a couple women.:D

Ok, so you want great riding, fun bars and women in Idaho? Its possible but all three in one random day is crazy, they don't usually all three go together in Idaho! My vote for riding is McCall, decent bars but you have to pick the right weekend. I would tell you where we go but the women are so few that it might ruin the percentages! Good lookin though! :D

ryan, if you decide on sandpoint let me know. I'm about 25 miles north, near whit, I have a cabin we are going to rent out this winter. Its about 1/4 mile from staging area, bottom of roman nose.

Ya that sounds pretty rad for sure. What are you thinkin of charging for the rental for a weekend or a full week? Also how many will it sleep? pm with some details and so I have your tag on file.

Thanks,
Ryan
