Best place for engine rebuild

Carb boot torn = needs short block according to RPM in Lakewood, $2,800 to repair. I need another opinion. Any suggestions?

I have used doug's in the past. would recommend...

It'an 04 REV800. Doug has done work for me in the past but he's S L O W but good. I removed the head which had alum on it but the cylinder is not damaged. I'm thinking pistons, minor cylinder rehone, clean up the head and all is good. Yeah, new rubbers might be a good idea too.

Yeah, his new shop is off of 108th and Irma in NorthGlenn. Nice setup, much like the old place he had.
