Best mod for 06 m7

Cheapest! First I would get the clutch dialed in then I would go with, Geo Mod (free, do it yourself), Better Boards and Powder Pro Ski's! Total of about $375 or $400. After that I would go with a Boss seat and Power Claw Track. I tried 2 cans on my M7 and both gave it a bog.

^^^wut he sed. I like the AC gold primary spring, AC weights for altitude, AC orange in secondary with a shift assist and 36 or 38 deg. helix. Then holz suspension brackets and geo mod. Running board mods are also high on my list.

Just like they said, CLUTCHING. you can tune your stock clutch by swapping springs and weights to what you like most. If you want some more info about clutching just pm me. Second, i would do side vents.....you need to get that extra heat out of the engine compartment. Then get a good sounding can. Some good ones that dont cause "the bog" are slp, skinz super q, and straightline. Some snow-eliminators might be nice, but there not that important. And cut down that stock windshield!! Some cheap cool ones that I just got for my m7 are=

Frog skinz vents
inside wheel kit
ski loops to match your sled color (usually green/orange)
if you need a can pm i have one or just wana talk about mods. Let me know

i would go with a left hand throttle, for your size and the size of the sled i think it would help and also i have the better boards on mine and i love them but that just my opinion! good luck:)

i'd say you got the best and probably the most expensive(aside from turbo or engine work) already done with the PC track. most important is clutching like others have said, like you've probably read most people love the m8 orange sec. spring but personally i think its a bit to stiff and like the speedwerx black/org. better. the speedwerx spring rates i believe are 140-270 vs., if i remember correctly, the org. cat springs 170-280. aside from that i'm happy with RKT recut stock head(cheaper than there billet heads) for a bit better snap on the bottom end, lots of venting, running board cutouts( many to choose from but i think if i did it again i'd go with the plastic ones as the aluminum ones do collect a bit of snow), BDX 2 wheel kit, and i did the '09 bumper kit for $38 with cat parts. the boss seat is nice but can be spendy unless you can find a good deal on a used one, i just picked one up for $200 so theres deals out there if you can find them.

09 bumper

Can you post the part numbers and quantities of items need to convert to 09 rear bumper setup. I have a 06 M7 153.

thanks

I have done almost every possible thing to my 06 m7. The only thing left on it thats original is the bottom end of the motor and the hood. So the best cheapest mods you can do are a good tortional secondary kit and the hrp relocation bracket for the rear suspension. Do these 2 things and you will run with most m8's. When you can afford it, go with a fuel controller and lean it out a little. Suns a biatches come fat right outta the crate. venting is a must and a timbersled intake also. Good luck with your choices!!
