Best late season riding?

Thinking about running out for a ride the first or second weekend in June. Assuming there will still be plenty to ride somewhere? Looks like the ears will have snow till July im gonna guess, but I would prefer to go somewhere with bigger terrain this late in the year. Suggestions?

Bigger terrain? It's late spring riding. Take what you can get. Vail Pass still has good coverage but I'm pretty sure at some point the FS shuts that place down. Probably true for most places

We have always done spring riding out of Silverton. The jeep roads allow you to access the high country right to the snow line. It was still pretty good this past Sunday. We always try for a June ride. Certainly do-able again down here this season

If im gonna drive 30 hours for 20 hours on the snow, I think its only right to be a little picky!

Yes ^^, eastern SD. Roughly 12-18 hours one way depending on location in Colorado. Soooo yes snow is snow, but why not drive the extra 2 hours to location x if the terrain is better. Really try not to climb much during november-march, so its fun to get that out late in year.
