well, im trying to make a late season decision on wether to upgrade the helmet or not. Currently I've got a "bubble" helmet and whenever i go riding with the guys and its cold to the point i need it down it fogs up and i end up not being able to see for crap. I've tried even using sunglasses but they do not work in many light conditions, so im hoping an open face helmet will work better as far as not fogging?

What has been your expierences? would using an open faced helmet with goggles have less fogging issues?

every body i ride with on deep days spends a lot of ride time trying to un fog or clean snow so they can see, if you willing to spend some serious cash there a helmet called a bv2s it never fogs and convertible to open face for the warm days

I wear an HJC SPX-N, and really like the helmet. The only goggles i have had in it are Oakley O-Frame and they rarely fog up. Everyone I ride with wear open face helmets. It's the only way to go IMO, I always had to deal with fog with my old full face helmet.

Just wear an MX helmet and goggles, everyone I know has quit messing around with the bubble head look and just uses a deflector/no-fog mask. I have a 509 helmet and goggles and they fit well together, no cold spots on the face etc...No fogging issues either, use an underhood goggle bag for a second set if necessary.
