best head for 07 800r

which head do you all think is the best head for a 07 rev 800r
elv. 5000-8000 only wanna run pump fuel 91 (no eth)
i'm rebuilding my buddies rev and thought i might be a good time to
do a head while the top end is off but not sure what one
thanks

i guess i should mention it has a cpi single pipe and Vforce reeds
its a 151X oil injected stock airbox

I have been nothing but happy with Dave Trygstad's head incerts. He will take your stock head and machine it to except his insert. He does this to keep the stock cooling properties that are as good as it gets for the 800r. Just tell him your elevation and needs and he will make it happen.His number is 507-281-3545

Be conservative with comp ratio if you do a head, the 800R doesnt seem to like or benefit from ratios much higher than stock, and with todays fuel it's asking for trouble unless you are willing to run some race fuel. I was very happy with how my 07 worked with the stock head.

Stock engine, stock pipe, HPS silencer, Team secondary, Camo Challenger. One of the favorite sleds I've had.

I ran an slp head and rage cages in my R. Maybe a slight increase in performance but my motor went down due to pre det. Installed a rk tech 14.7 to 1 head in my buddys R and his pistons. Noticeable increase in power over the slp and rage cage set up.
