After reading all of these other BEST of threads, I thought I'd head up the next logical question.
What grips are the BEST for snowbiking?
Do you wire them?
Do you glue em?
What colour is best?
Thick of thin?
Donuts or no donuts?
How about grip length, I see some are as small as 115mm and some are as big as 135mm.. This clearly presents a shopping problem.
Then we get into durometer, which durometer is specifically best for snowbiking?
Has anyone tried not running grips? Seems like a great way to save some weight..
And on the opposite end of the spectrum, the latest craze seems to be putting 2 grips on top of each other getting the benefits of more than one style of grip while providing for extra cushioning on the icy trails. Has this trend caught on yet, is it mainstream in your area?
And then finally the question everyone wants to know is brand.. Are you brand loyal? Is it worth the extra $11 for the branded option of rubber?
Jon
ps. In case you haven't guessed, this is a goof topic.
