Best gopro battery in the cold

I have a hero 3+ when it's below 15 degrees my battery goes dead right away. I've tried a couple different brands including gopro. Any advice?

Carry SEVERAL spare batteries and keep all of them WARM inside of your suit.

I agree. My 3+ battery was great.

My 8 batteries suck, it takes 3 batteries to get to 3+. They are terrible in the cold.

Ya, I REALLY WISH GoPro would tackle the COLD WEATHER ISSUE Of their TINY batteries...

I'd love to see an external power pack/cord available while retaining the waterproof rating.
Similar idea to the heated goggles and such, allows for a much larger battery, without making the camera too big.

Pick up a Phoozy, put your batteries and GoPro in there when you're not using it. On my Skidoo Gen4 I put them in the hood storage which keeps them warm too.

I have one of these and used it RELIGIOUSLY with my iPhone 11.
Made a HUGE difference in battery life.

I also carry a pair of USB Heaters in my Handlebar Bag to kept my iPhone warm as well.
