best goggles

I'm looking for a new pair of goggles to repelace my Scott voltage goggles with rose lense.

First off, i love my scotts but made the dumb choice to use them this summer on an ATV ride...the lense is now scratched bad and the foam is caked with dust. I wanted to replace them with the same goggle but scott has since updated the design (mine are about 3 yrs old).

I wear glasses so I need something that fits over my glasses. I was looking at the 509 goggles but not sure they will work.

any thoughts?

Lots of good goggles out there but everyones face is shaped different and goggles fit everyone differently so be careful when reading opinions on "what's the best". Habervision makes Over The Glasses (OTG) and insert style goggles, contact Trax 2 Treads on here for a deal.

HaberVision has a couple of different options for people that ride with glasses. The first is our optical insert. It is like a pair of glasses without the arms that you fit into your goggles. It has a telescoping center post that goes up and down to fit into different widths of goggles. You take it to your optometrist to be filled with your prescription. It is important that if you choose this option that you take both the optical insert and your goggle to your optometrist to get the right geometry between the two.

Optical Insert inside a pair of MXT's with an eliminator:

Optical Insert looking from the outside of a pair of MXT's:

The other option we have is our Ouzo goggles these are the goggles we recommend for over the glasses:

All this being said my son rides with the Higlines and glasses and has no problem fitting them into his goggles. It really depends on the fit and finish of your frame.

Regardless of which option you pick I would definitely recommend an Eliminator to help deal with the fogging issues you may encounter.

maybe just wash the dirt out of them and replace the lenses?

from their website......

[Q] I wear glasses, are 509 goggles compatible?[A] 509 goggles are not true "OTG" style frames. That being said many sledders use our goggles over their glasses. It depends entirely on the shape and size of your glasses frame. We offer a completely satisfaction guarantee, so give them a shot and if they don't work out we'll refund you entirely.

give them a shot....see how they feel.

Check these out. I do not wear glasses but heard these work well. I like them for the snap on lenses so you can carry extras and change them out as conditions call for.
