Best Gloves?

i have a pair of Auclair gloves that are really sturdy, i see all of the lift maintnence guys on the ski resort also wear them, they have a sort of leather composite palm that i have yet to rip after two seasons with plenty of trees and flinging snow off the running boards.

Another vote for TNA gear, have tried just about every common glove and this is the only I will buy again.

I went thru 3 pairs of Klim gloves last season.
Think I might try the TNA's this year.

another vote for TNA, I have the Klims now and i really miss my TNA's but I lost one and the dealer here didn't have anymore so I bought Klim. Everybody around here is Klim biased, but I want my TNA's back, they feel so much lighter

Are the TNA's the closest thing to a Mechanix glove that may offer some resistance to water? ie. same lightweight and great dexterity?

I love my Mechanix gloves but they soak up water like nobody's biznas then get really cold.

no, they're not really like a mechanics glove, they are an insulated glove with a waterproof breathable membrane, kindof like coldwaves but way lighter and more dextrous. I used mine on pow days and on the trail, very warm and dry and on warm days i use motocross gloves, would be similar to wearing mechanic's gloves

i have 2-3 pairs of Mechanix gloves and that works for most days. If it is real cold out, then I go to a warmer glove but the handwarmers work well with mechanixs.

I keep a warm pair for when you have to do a lot of digging or if it turns cold.

i like neopreme gloves. the dive gloves are alittle thick and warm for my taste, but i never have cold hands wearing them unless i take a long break.
sure the hands stay wet the whole time, but they are warm. plus ive never owned a pair of gloves that dont eventually get wet anyhow.

They are still thin in the palm so you have a good grip without too much effort, as waterproof as you will get and fairly warm.

Like stated above, you need to figure out what you want in a glove.

If a lightweight glove is what you want, the TnA Storm is a good choice. I like the Klim when they're new, but they fall apart.

I also REALLY like the Thor Ride glove...its more of a motocross style glove designed for cold/wet weather riding. Similar membrane construction as all the others, but built a little tougher...plus they come in large sizes.

Another vote for TNA hands will stay dry all day long only complaint is towards the end of the day when the outsides are soaked and it starts to cool down they freeze up on the outside. I just carry an extra pair to wear on the way back to the trailer at night. TNAs customer support is amazing.
