best gloves

Klim

Just my opion but the Klim Summit or Togwotee are the warmest and usser friendly. They also last longer with the leather palmes. I take two pairs with me, by end of day digging sleds out the fingers get wet on the outside and want freeze hard. I just put the seconed pair on and good for the rest of the day. Fred

Warmest, most waterproof, most windproof, and for what riding? Kinda depends on what you are looking for.

Arctic Cat leather gloves..so warm you sweat so they are not a warm weather glove, I have the Klim Togwotee as well but they are not in the same league as the Cat ones for warmth...

I like the feel of a leather palm glove best and depending on the model some are very warm. But if you have to dig out alot the leather becomes wet and even though your hand doesn't get wet they still get cold. That being said it would be hard to say what glove is best. Depends.

What are the warmest and most water proof gloves you have used.

Burton AK Guide Glove - I have had most every top of the line glove and these are hands down the best for warmth, waterproof, breathable and windproof. They have great feel, you don't lose hand/finger dexterity.

We have had absolutely zero complaints with the new Klim Elite, but we have only sold 100 or so pairs. We do however have a huge response with the Klim Summit, Motorfist Valkyrie, and the Togwotee is pretty highly regarded as well. Three of those four are goretex, the other eVent, and all of them have insulation. They all have leather palms, and the summit and togwotee have removable liners, so you can slim the glove down when needed. Super cool options. The Elite however, is one of the coolest gloves we have seen. Super durable, awesome leather construction, the best gore-tex used in powersports, and all while being super warm and insulated. But still keeping a super slim feel, which is huge in our opinion. Warmth without, bulk how could you go wrong?

IMO Klim gloves are average... at best.

I've used their pants, jackets, boots, mid layers, socks, etc.....all excellent......but after 4 pairs of their gloves, I'll never buy another pair.

Just curious, but which pairs?

I'm a glove freak. The klim elite glove is on another level compared to all others for extreme conditions. Most warm and waterproof glove I've ever used. Never liked any other klim glove before this one. I also really like the a certain Burton and volcom glove.

Just curious, but which pairs?

Powercross, Klimate, Togwotee (2 pair) ....all had issues to some extent with rips, tears, stitching coming undone, not very warm, not very waterproof.

After those issues I decided to stop "upgrading"

I will never waste my dollars on KLIM gloves again.
If they don't fall apart within the firs season you're lucky.
I have a pair of the very overpriced TOG gloves and if you try to do anything more than just sit on the seat And give the trigger a squeeze now and then you will HATE these.
Yes, they are warm BUT trying to hang on while playing hard will cause you to get that feeling like you're wearing overly thick socks inside of loose shoes and your hands will slip and slide around inside.
Holding on in technical riding is almost impossible.

I bought some Motorfist gloves this year, their "Best" glove.
It seems well put together and don't feel sloppy while gripping.
We'll see.

True Adventure gets my vote.. I would never own another pair if klims!!

Same here. I have 2 pair now. The one pair is a 2-3 years old and the other pair I just got last year and they have upgraded them to be even better now. I will say my hands do not get hot in them but they are always dry and love that the liner never pulls out. Most of my riding partners also wear them. I am actually surprised it took that long in this post for them to get mentioned.

I'm a true believer of TAG Storm gloves.
For reference, i used Klim Togwotee and bought a pair Klim Summit i never use any more, they are good, but for my kind of use, playing in loose snow with helping stuck sleds loose, TAG is in an league of their own.

I always take two pairs of gloves!

I start out with the Klim Power Cross and normally make it through the day on them, bu if I am digging a lot of people out I switch to the Motorfist Valkyrie Gloves!
I cannot say enough good things about Motorfist gloves! Amazing stuff!
